16. Lighting Setting
Set whether to turn on the indicator light and flashlight alarm, whether to turn on the night vision and set the night vision mode.
Click “Setting” button on the APP Home / Live view interface → Click “Lighting Setting” , enter Lighting Setting interface.

Infrared mode:
According to bright light or low light environment, infrared light automatically switches. The white light won't be turned on. The image is white & black in low light environment.
White light mode:
● When the motion sensor is triggered or you enter the live view interface, the white
light will turn on in low light environment. The image is color .
● The lights will turn off when the screen no motion or you leave the live view interface
for about 30 seconds.

17. Audio settings
Click “Setting” button on the APP Home / Live view interface → Click “Audio settings” , enter Audio settings interface.

18. Installation settings(Rotate image)
You can place the camera on a shelf or other surfaces to use, or you can install it on a wall to use. The camera image is flipped when it is placed on a shelf or surface to use, you need to adjust the rotated image.
Click “Setting” button on the APP Home / Live view interface → Click “Advanced settings” → Click Installation settings → Turn on “Rotate image”.

19. How to reset the camera?
1. Open the waterproof rubber plug on the dome. Press the “P” Hole with a pin to reboot camera.
2. Double-click the camera power button to reset the camera and enter connection mode again.

20. How to watch multiple cameras at the same time?
Click “Arrange” button on the APP Home interface, click the play button “Connect” button of the camera respectively, and then you can watch two or more cameras at the same time.

21. Why can't my VicoHome connect to the camera?
1. Make sure your camera has enough power and has pressed the power button 5 seconds to turn the camera on.
2. Make sure your WiFi supports 2.4GHZ.
3. Make sure you have entered the correct WiFi name and password.
4. Put your camera and mobile phone close to the router within 5ft when you add camera to VicoHome.

22. Why does my camera show offline?
1. Check the distance between the camera to your router. It’s better within 65FT. If the distance is too far away, the camera will be offline. Please move the camera closer to the router or change a wifi.
2. Delete the camera from the APP, double click power botton of the camera to re-add camera to the APP.

23. How to turn on/off the Light Alarm and Sound Alarm?
Click “Setting button” on APP Home interface, enter Camera Setting interface.
● Click “Motion Detection”, then turn on/off “Motion Detection”.
● Click “Lighting Setting”, then turn on/off “Flashlight Alarm”.
● Click “Audio settings”, then turn on/off “Audible Alarm”.

24. How to set phone to receive Motion Detection Alarm?
● Login to VicoHome APP → Click “Setting button” → Click “Motion Detection” → Turn on “Motion Detection” → Click “Notification Setting” → Turn on “Notification”.
● Go to “Settings” of your mobile phone → Click “Notifications” → Click “VicoHome” → Turn on “Allow Notifications”.

25. Why can't my VicoHome videos be saved to my phone album?
You have to allow photo access in the phone system settings to store media files.
Click “Settings” on your mobile phone → Click “ VicoHome” → Click “Photos”, check “Read and Write”.

26. How to unshare a camera?
When you have shared a camera to others, you have permission to unshare the camera.
Login to VicoHome APP → Click “Setting button ” → Click “Share” → Swipe your finger to the left on the user you want to delete → Click “Delete”.

27. How to reduce motion detection notifications?
1. Set the motion detection sensitivity to “Low”.
2. Turn Cool down time on, there are 4 time periods can be choosed: 10S, 30S, 60S, 180S. If the Cool down time is on, no video will be recorded in the time period you choosed.(NOTE: This feature may miss some important moments)
2. Set Do Not Disturb mode according to your time.
3. Subscribe VicoHome Awareness to turn on the Classification feature, the camera will analyze the video and identify the following categories: Pesson, Pet, Vehicle, Package and to edit activity zone, when you use smart push you will receive a notification only in case movement is detected in the Activity Zones.

28. Why each alarm video is 10 seconds?
The default is 10 seconds. There are four duration options you can choose: Auto, 10S, 15S, 20S. If you choose “Auto”, the camera will end the recording after the movement stops, the maxumum time is 3 minutes.

29. How far should the camera be placed from the router?
After testing, the wifi connection distance can normally reach up to 150 meters in the open area. However, the actual situation depends on the strength of wifi and its surrouding environment(thick walls, electromagnetic devices, large metal objects will all cause interference to th wifi sianals). If the camera connection signal is weak or unstable, please place the camera as close to the router as possible.

30. Why does the camera battery drain fast?
The following factors may lead to fast battery consumption.
1. The camera is frequently activated to record videos, push notifications, flashlight alarm and audible alarm.
2. The user frequently watches live or adjusts camera settings on their mobile phones.
3. The network the camera is connected to is poor or unstable, so the camera keeps actively searching for the network.
4. White light night vision mode will consume more battery.
5. Extremely cold weather may also cause a decrease in battery life.
